Another challenge card! Or should I say 3 cards!
Often I spend a lot of time making one card, but making three cards at once does not take that much more time… although the whole process took several days since I rarely have the chance to sit for a very long time to do something.
These cards are made for a challenge. I knew I wanted to use this stamp set, so I started with stamping and coloring the adorable girl and her bear. I then looked around the web for a card challenge and was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #330 sketch challenge and decided to work on that. I was particularly inspired by Amy O’Neill’s card design.
The girl in purple and pink uses a water brush and watercolor markers. The girl in blue uses colored pencils and odorless mineral spirits. I have not decided which is my preferred method of colouring (including alcohol markers) yet, so I’ll keep on experimenting. 🙂
Anyway, I’m not going to go in detail with how I made these cards… I think it’s pretty self explanatory. Here are some more pictures of the cards.
What a great set of cards! Love those girls and your beautiful colouring! The embossed background is perfect! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
